The way the he-plugger is clutching his chest here is evocative and disturbing to me. “Please, dear, stand up. We just need to make it to the car. We can’t afford the ambulance ride. I know you can do it!”
When you retire there are two very dangerous things to watch out for. The Lazy Boy and the TV. The combination of the two will result in an early death.

I’m afraid with the new generation, many won’t get up at all, for any reason, other than bodily needs…..

I always told me wife to stand up for herself. Eventually she got the message, left me and married a woman. :)
