The caption should just be “Pluggers wear their food.”

I am a plugger. I don’t think any of my shirts are special. They all are thoroughly stained. In fact pizza, spaghetti, rib, hamburger stains look the same as motor oil stains.

Ain’t notheeng as enjoying as eatsing spaghetti when watching spaghetti western.

I just keep a bib handy

That food-stained shirt can be cleverly claimed as creative tie-dye in progress.

We female Pluggers wear bib aprons during sloppy meals.

Every time I go an Asian buffet I get my shirt stained, Never fails.

If you are wearing white, red sauce just leaps off the plate towards you. Especially fresh white dress shirts. A culinary red badge of courage.

When we’re at home, we men have a special outfit for eating these messy foods; it’s called our birthday suit.

Tee towel for a bib is the cure for all of this.

Haven’t had a sloppy Joe in decades or ribs for that matter. The only special shirt I have is for painting.

When cooking spaghetti sauce from scratch, I put on a white T shirt so I can bleach it when washed.

You should always wear a dark red shirt with patterns for eating those things…..

Shocker…another gross plugger trait

When eating those items, be sure to sit very close to the table and have your plate touching your chest so droppings can slide back onto the plate or be flicked onto it.

Someday you’ll discover the Messy Giuseppe.

So…do pluggers wear these garments out in public? Like to a restaurant?

I guess I am not a plugger. My clothing does not get stained from those, or other foods when I eat.

I use the napkin-as-bib approach, especially in public places. I don’t have an unlimited budget for shirts.

The best ribs I’ve found are Swiss Chalet, on site or grocery store; but with Franks Hot sauce. I’ve yet to try Costco’s ribs, which are cheaper.

Just lick it clean as usual.

Every Plugger knows that as soon as you put on a clean shirt, you’ll spill something on it!

Send the guy some Tide. “Tide’s in, Dirt’s out!”
