I still don’t understand why you just don’t undo the clasp of the leash from your collar.

Or at least hide behind a tree or a rock!

Because they are dogs! Cats would have clawed the leash apart by now.

Hurry up somebody and get that leash off! Driving me crazy.

A cat would have clawed the leash holder apart before he even got it attached to the cat’s collar.

A human did it(attached leash), so it must be oK, right?

The end is near..the slack on his leash is tightening up.

In this strip, if a dog can write with a pen, then a dog ought to be able to unsnap a leash. doi!

okay, no thumbs, got it… Could he not just go ask another human to undo it? Chazz, for example? I’m in favor of going around a tree and catching it before the leash holder has a chance to go round the tree too. I doubt that Mr. Gilligan will ‘expire’ a dog, even if it is one we haven’t seen before. I’m perched on the edge of my seat to see how he gets out of this (I suspcect Poncho will help, allbeit, for his own gain somehow).

They hold phones, planks of wood and other items in this strip. I agree he can undo the leash.

Just undo the leash please…or have poncho go get Chazz. I don’t want to see the poor dog get hurt.

Refresh my memory – wasn’t Scruffles the one who was helping Poncho with his counterfeiting operation?

What I don’t understand is why it’s taking the handle of the leash 4 days to catch up with him. It’s not retracting very fast is it?

The owner was 2 states away when he released the end of the leash. That might take a little while.

Correction, Saucy1121: 3 towns over. I don’t think the 4 days was supposed to be 4 actual days; it’s just that the comic strip can only post daily.

He said he has two hours to live; let’s assume it hasn’t yet been two hours.
