High paws, Valerie. When my dogs were whelping, I spent weeks cuddling the puppies. ;o)
@Destiny23. “Bad ” odors (like the fear of snakes in humans) are learned. Canids have such a developed sense of smell that they glean information from every molecule. This is why our dogs will find the grossest stuff available and roll in it. They’re taking the information back to their “pack”.
