Pooch Cafe by Paul Gilligan for August 10, 2010
Transcript:
Dog: Trespassers! You dare trespass on my territory? Drop the food, or face destruction! Poncho: We better do what that dog says! He's very loud! Nocturna: You're drawing a false correlation between loudness and actual credibility. Ohhh... this was some sort of defining moment for you, wasn't it? Poncho: He's so worth listening to!

My guess is Boomer, too, and not just because of his booming voice. Boomer’s relationship with Poncho goes back to the first days of the strip, and he DOES seem to act as an authority figure in a lot of cases. He’s also the one dog who seems to have as much interest in garbage as Poncho.
