Pooch Cafe by Paul Gilligan for September 16, 2013
Transcript:
Mailman: Thanks for helping me get the cat off my head. And for helping me get back my lost piece of mail. Poncho: No problem, maily! Mailman: Does that mean we're no longer adversaries? Poncho: I wish I could say that were so. But the fact is we're pack animals. Poncho: Without us the mailman population would run wild, and you'd use up all your resources and starve. We're here to preserve the natural balance. Mailman: Uhh… okay… Poncho: Remember: You don't have to run faster than us dogs, just faster than the mailman next to you.
Mind you, the letter carrier population is already on the verge of extinction, thanks to email. I guess once letter carriers become extinct, Poncho will have to adapt by barking at any “You Got Mail” notification on AOL mail.
