The stories about Napoleon being short are historically inaccurate. Actually Napoleon was average sized for his day. People think he was short because his height was listed at 5’2” on his autopsy report. In truth the French inch was shorter than the English (our) inch. By our measurement he was actually about 5’6”, average for the time. He liked to surround himself with tall military men, which made him appear shorter.

Maybe you could conquer your selfishness instead, a most worthy adversary-
