Winslow: Carmen. The editor of the "Prickly City Peccary" wrote me back! Voice from letter: "Dear Mr. Winslow, please, please do not stop taking our newspaper! If a certain comic strip displeases you, it's gone! Now! Today! We make sure the newspaper is as bland and inoffensive as possible. Strong ideas are fine for the intelligent, but not for newspaper readers. Our hope is that if we keep putting out the same product we did in 1975, no one will notice and the business might last long enough for us to get our pensions. Winslow: The jumble is next on my list. It makes me feel stupid...
