Include a new electrical grid, some highways, sewer & water systems, as well as some solar energy generators and you got a deal.

Rickety old nuclear plants?… Well, it’s easy to tell who has never spent any time around a nuclear plant nor had to deal with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and their safety procedures.

How many acres does it take to replace a 350 MW coal plant? Or more wind plants that are permitted to kill eagles.

“…rickety old nuclear plants…” You have a way with words, NG. I picture broken down wooden, clapboard structures in need of paint leaning in the wind with little black nuclear-shelter symbols spouting out of old brick chimneys leaning at a dangerous slant. WOW! By comparison “toxic coal fired plants” look pretty good! ;-)

The republicans do not care about the economy either. Unless it is like Eric Cantor investing in a bond hedge fund that made him $$$ when he and the other GOP caused the “guberment” shut down.
