What about our self censuring Nanny State afraid to offend anyone even if they’re trying to kill us?

Heartily agree with the caveat the reaction shouldn’t be to shoot you. Your free speech can receive criticism from my free speech(which might include some cussing and name calling) but no bullets or bottles or bricks or sticks.

Very good point, Darsan. .There are some people, and I’m one of them, that feel that a right that you can’t use is not much of a right. Having said that, I also feel that a right should be used when you need to use it, not just to shove it in other people’s faces (and yes, I’m talking to you, OC nuts).

Does anyone remember from their youthful parental education that if you want to exercise your rights, you need to be willing to accept the concomitant responsibilities?.Just sayin’

“unrestricted US Drone strikes” You need to define your words. Drones are not scattered Helter-skelter but aimed; they are precision weapons.

So, if terrorists stay out of buildings, vehicles and don’t meet, they are safe? How many murders will you justify? The terrorists declared war on the rest of us and our government has a duty to protect the citizens. I shed no tears for dead terrorists.

Nothing happens in the US. You might be yelled at and verbally condemned but nobody beheads the burner.

And obviously, anyone we kill is a terrorist, because we only kill terrorists. Perfect logic, of course.
