Let’s have a nice, quiet, in-depth discussion about religious faith instead. With tea and biscuits.

Snark aside, Carmen, yeah that would be nice.

Yep, that and today’s gem just about says it all about politics; that is, in my opinion.

Disagree – I think political discussions ought to dominate every element of life. Just avoid the ad hominem. Those who advocate for freedom as the highest virtue seek discussion. Those who advocate for peace as the highest virtue want silence. Freedom requires a vigorous defense, whereas peace requires only surrender.

People who feel the need to associate themselves with one group so they can accuse and condemn another group rather than point out their groups accomplishments are pathetic and not worth listening to. Sadly, I wouldn’t want to associate myself with either.

Since November 2014 this strip has changed from leaning conservative to leaning nowhere. It was the only one out there as an anti Doonesbury. First time I looked in again was today and it will be last for a 6 week cycle – reconciliation, blah, blah, blah.

I know it’s “just” a comic, but Winslow’s last statement is one of the scariest you can hear. Especially in the current climate.
