It’s not so much as we are prohibting someone from being a bigot, but not letting them affect the law and economy only in their favor. They can be loud-mouthed bigots and we can be loud-mouthed critics of the same behavior. That’s not intolerance; that’s shaming them into hopefully better behavior.
“PC” means nobody is allowed to hold a different opinion, e.g., bakers who believe homosexual marriage is a farce. Only leftists enforce PC. Conservatives are broadly tolerant of differing views, the sole exception being the legitimacy of dismembering babies in the womb. Or maybe any other pillars of the left’s “cult of death.”

Right wingers choose to be reich wingers. Nobody forced them, and they weren’t born that way, so it isn’t bigotry, it’s a value judgement. Don’t pretend you don’t think and say the very same things of the left.
