One would think democrats would start to realize we have a truly-growing economy again, mostly due to the administration’s constraint of regulators. Government cannot make a good economy, but it can destroy one. The last time the American people had a good economy, 2006, they brought in a democrat Congress, and in less than one year we had the New Normal of the previous decade. Cannot stand good times, I suppose.
Braindead-has a point where he is pointing but most other questions have more than one side. The bad part of Congress is that for the last umpteen years the republicans have said if you don’t like our views we are going to take our ball and go home. They seem to have only one view. At least Obama tried to work with the other side of the isle but they wouldn’t have anything to do with it.
I empathize, Carmen: “I think, therefore I am”, IS looked upon in current society as a little wierd. Being totally insane crosses into the realm of “normal”. Which is why since getting shot at, and worse, in ’Nam, I became firmly established as one who feared “normal”, not weird.
Our normal state of wars, since WW I, actually, is not a “greatness” to be desired for America. “Eat the chickenhawks” seems a more viable diet for the body politic.
Really not trying to convince you since “faux news” responses and convenient forgetfulness seems to be the norm, but here you go: https://www.politico.com/story/2010/10/the-gops-no-compromise-pledge-044311https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yd0fVf5CsCchttps://www.salon.com/…/republicans-did-everything-to-stop-president-obama-but-noeconomistsview.typepad.com/…/08/if-obama-was-for-it-we-had-to-be-against-it.html

You would think sitting in the middle and seeing both sides would be an advantage but, instead everyone thinks you are crazy.

How many sides are there with the constant lies Trump and his administration and his base tell?
.
How many sides are there to Trump claiming that he’s responsible for no plane crashes?
How many sides to the repeated claim that Obama was born in Kenya?
How many sides to OBAMA IS COMING TO TAKE YOUR GUNS!?
How many sides to the invasion of Iraq?
How many sides to the gutting of environmental regulations?
How many sides to the elimination of net neutrality?

Being certain of things you can’t be certain of is fundamentalism, and it does not just apply to religion.
