Serious question to friend Darsan (and anyone else who wants to chime in.) I must have a blind spot regarding Mr. Trump (even thought I voted against him in 2016.) Your post here, and many others I have seen elsewhere, express a fear that Mr. Trump wishes to abolish large elements of the Constitution and will do so by fiat. So I know this is not just you and our leftist friends on this page; I assume there is something real motivating those fears.
I do not see anything in his policies that reflect that. Are those fears tweet-based, or have I missed something in particular? Tax cuts are not exactly the actions of a dictator, nor are domestic deregulation and defunding international overlords. The only actions I see that support your perspective are his constraints on immigration and international trade, and that does not meaningfully injure American citizens.
I have not been shy about posting my thoughts on the specific constrictive actions of democrat governors in the recent past, so I hope -so inspired – you will cite what Trump actions distress you, unless it is a mere fear of potential.
