Natural Rights | Individual Liberty | Limited Government | Consent of the Governed
Property Rights | Free Markets | Rule of Law | Equal Justice
Our Constitution was created to protect natural rights, limit government, assure the consent of the government is respected, protect individual rights (that means minority rights) and protect property rights, ensure the people consent to the actions of the government, ensure rule of law and equal justice and protect the operations of a free market and avoid central planning of economies and lives. The Constitution and the Federal government were created by the states, not the other way around. We are a federalist republic using democratic techniques for parts of our decision making.
