Very timely. I gave our dog a haircut yesterday to “Save some money.” My wife told me to make an appointment on Monday to fix the hack job I did on the poor dog.
I tried to trim my cat’s fur, and ended up in the ER after she attacked me, hit a vein, and my hand started swelling and turning blue. Why didn’t I have a professional do it? Well, she would have had to undergo general anesthesia, and it would have cost us over $100. Needless to say, my cat will just have to have long fur from here on out. She’s an inside cat and has the benefit of AC, so she’ll be fine.

Shaving dogs is a really bad idea, their coats help keep them cool in the summer as well as warm in the winter, a moderate cut is ok, but not a shave
