I’ve worked and lived in enough parts of the world where they are the norm that I’ve come to accept that the idea I grew up with, that tattoos and piercings were a sign of lower class at best, is wrong. I still don’t like most tattooing though, and every time I see a nose ring dangling down my first impression is that it is a booger dripping out.
