PS: those 4 frame shorties feel like being allowed to eat dinner one crumb at a time. I sorely miss both the gentle watercoloring and the much longer daily story lines. Come back to your faithful fans Georgia!
Greetings to Elvis, Puck, Lupin, all the other cats, mice and humans! Thank you for a gentle (sewing needles excepted), clever, richly devised and, of course, funny respite from reality. I always read the strip twice; once just for the story, then slowly to find the wonderful nuances (tuxedos, buzzy mouse appearances, crawl).
Happy new home, everyone! Can’t wait for new BCNs!
Wonderful strip! I’ve only had this strip for about 3 months, and it’s my fave. Her Ladyship Miz Popcorn Fuzzalot, who allows me to live with and serve her, enjoys it too. Thanks Georgia, for a very human and cattish reality served up with a smile.
Lighten up, people…that was a sweet strip with a positive message, even if it was bent in the direction of a single religion….which BTW, I am NOT a member of.
Cartoon frame shrinkage is just one reason I now get my comics on line and have cancelled all three hard copy subscriptions to papers. I miss the crinkle of the Sunday Times as I imprinted jelly prints on the pages, but I refuse to buy an enormous stack of trash ads and inserts to search for the few pages of relevant news, commentary and comics. Sorting through my local rag had become more akin to dumpster diving.
