Woman: This year I'm going to be completely different! Man: Me too! Elvis: I will change nothing about myself. And carry on being awesome. Puck: I will steal hors d'oeuvres. Lupin: I will get in on this hat thing! Tommy: Looks like the ball is about to drop! In ten... Burt: Nine... Tabitha and Figaro: Ocho... People: Seven! Lupin: Sssix... Baba: Five... Sophie: Four... Greetings to Elvis, Puck, Lupin, all the other cats, mice and humans! Thank you for a gentle (sewing needles excepted), clever, richly devised and, of course, funny respite from reality. I always read the strip twice; once just for the story, then slowly to find the wonderful nuances (tuxedos, buzzy mouse appearances, crawl).
