    When will we get a continuation of the story arc that paused (?) on Sept. 21?

    I can’t find anything that says exactly how far back the daily strips are being run. The Mon-Sat strips are roughly 10 years back from their original run. Given that, I’d say this strip is probably one that Bill did to honor all those who did many things to contribute in some way to the unity and patriotism shown shortly after 9/11. I think I remember the Red Cross saying something that most people could do was to donate blood, due to the spike in hospitalizations following the attacks.

    Bill Amend is semi-retired. All of the Mon-Sat strips are approximately 10-year-old repeats. The only new strips, as Night-Gaunt49 said are on Sundays.

    @Andrea@home you can thank Apple and the iPhone for the rotation that your Android does.

    @Hunter7 it’s a beer tap.

    The third one might be a monk. I don’t know about Mohamed. Mormons (I am one) dress normally like other people.

    @Wiseguy411 – I don’t know why, but some time after Watterson’s retirement the syndicate began putting out strips that were about 2 months behind the actual time of year. Go back to any time when things like school ending or school starting should be different, Valentine’s Day, etc., and you’ll see.

    Why can’t I see this strip? It’s been saying “This comic is currently unavailable. Check back soon!” for over an hour. All other strips are working fine.

    To everyone who has tried to turn this strip into a political one, when even Wiley himself has said that it’s NOT, you all should be glad Wiley doesn’t have your comments removed. Sometimes a cartoonist just wants to put a FUN or interesting strip out there for the public to see.
