So, all this time I thought that cable was the Stuka”s radio antenna, which is where it normally would be on this airplane. Now I find that it’s a single cable, attached to the glass canopy, holding the entire aircraft airborne and steady? Wow, was I mistaken.
The “suspending pole” that Tracy is clinging to is actually the radio antena attached to the cockpit of the Junkers Ju 87 “Stuka.” It doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling and is probably too short and thin to support a hulk like Tracy climbing all over on it. UnlessTracy can fly he would had to have lept on to the canopy from some unseen platform. And unless the “Stuka” has suspension wires from the ceiling it is “hovering” in space. Oh, well…
This should win Mr. Bell a Pulitzer Prize. Forgive me if there are typos here…I’m typing through tears.
