    EMET

Appropriate to In the Bleachers, the Apostle Paul was very familiar with the ancient games of Greece.

This appreciation was reflected in his letter to the church at Corinth:

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be denied that which is eternal. (1Cor9:24-27)

yyyguy asked: “…how are they going to kick the ball????”

On page six of the rule book, Soccer for Snails, they can only use their antennae eyes to move the ball down field:

An offensive player may pick up the ball and hold it between their antennae. They may not use any other portion of their body with the exception of balancing the ball on their head for the purpose of thrusting the ball forward.

A snail who tries to move the ball with its lower body will be penalized for delay of game.

Owlsly Whistlepig said “..make a left at the 1st star on the right and then straight on until sunrise…”

From Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country…

At the end of the movie Chekov asks, “Course heading, captain?”

To which Captain Kirk replies, ““Second star to the right…and straight on till morning.”

    Sounds like fun.
