  1. over 12 years ago on Calvin and Hobbes

Wasn’t Calvin’s dad a successful patent attorney or something? It always seemed to me like he could definitely afford a $40,000 car. Hell, that’s not too far above my reach, and I’m just an insurance adjuster.

  2. over 12 years ago on Calvin and Hobbes

This is how I drive every day.

  3. over 12 years ago on Calvin and Hobbes

So if he made Moai out of snow, does that make them Snoai?

  4. almost 13 years ago on F Minus

For delivery of pizza or any other food, customary rules of percentage tipping sort of go out of the window, because the driver usually does about the same amount of work no matter what the cost of your order is, unless you’re ordering like 50 pizzas for a company party or something.Besides, the company I work for wouldn’t even deliver a cup of marinara by itself. They’d tell you to order something along with it or go pick it up yourself.

  5. almost 13 years ago on Pearls Before Swine

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.Although the Mac OS has had its own virus problems lately.

  6. about 13 years ago on Non Sequitur

I have two words for you: open perils.

  7. about 13 years ago on Non Sequitur

It’s melancholy. Just melancholy, with no need to add “-ness.” It can function as a noun just like it is.

  8. about 13 years ago on F Minus

Wow. F Minus is usually so much funnier than this. I guess today is just an off day.

  9. about 13 years ago on Barney & Clyde

I’d rather see bicyclists on the sidewalks rather than breaking all the rules of the road they’re supposed to follow. I’ve never once seen a bicyclists stop for a stop sign. Not once. If I was a cop, I’d have a field day.

  10. about 13 years ago on Frazz

Because NOBODY watches baseball, golf, or tennis.
