Comic books haven’t turned into graphic novels by description. A graphic novel will either consist of multiple comic books over a story arc or event republished or its own original work. There is still a separation of the two in the industry. As for “magazine”, can’t say why that term disappeared in description. Maybe a format change such as in size?
Thanks for the clarification. Frankie Valli must have read Peanuts in his youth. Although, it looks like Bob Crewe credits a movie with the line for inspiring the song.
