You are essentially agreeing with Susan Sunshine! She’s not saying the new comics are bad, she’s commenting (quite rightly) on the habit of many newer comic artists to denigrate the older ones. It’s as if they want to push the old guys off a cliff.
Understood, but I’m wondering whether using the murder of Karen Silkwood as the punchline of a comic strip was well thought out. Perhaps I’m being too sensitive.
Even in death, she’s hogging the covers.
