Being run over while I bike my children to school would be very nice thank you. Thinking about the day they can bike on their own and having more Rats, like the commenters here, who would be willing to run them down for “slowing them down” as they enjoy the freedom and healthy choice of getting around on their own will be very comforting to me. Freedom of choice involves how we get around our communities. My family chooses active transportation. You can choose whatever you want. Just don’t threaten me while I practice mine.
