What you’re referring to is a temporary condition caused by extended pressure in that area from the seat — which is why modern seats have a split in the middle.
I was simply commenting on the idea that forces causes things to rise (locally). Yes, there are plate tectonics, but they work on a macro scale and would not explain something like polystrata fossils.
This is nonsense (and why poly-strata fossils prove a young Earth) — erosion & weathering cause sediment to go downhill — how did things get buried? Either poly-strata tree fossils (without a world-wide flood) stood for millions of years while dirt formed up around them, or they (collectively) grew through hundreds of feet of rock looking for sunlight.
