Unfortunately for Rat, the claim that his ‘disability prevents him from working with people’ really dooms his cause: he could just work away from people. There must be jobs that would place him in the middle of nowhere with no contact with the outside world…that would prevent any contact with idiots.
Thanks for pointing that out, wouldn’t have noticed it otherwise. On a different note, is it just me, or does ‘Hobbes’ look much more accurate than most of Pastis’ imitations? Almost like he traced one of Waterson’s.
My favorite part about this is that the crocs did this intentionally. Who would have thought they would be smart enough to remember a failed scheme and reuse it to their advantage?
I’m kinda impressed Pastis managed to actually bring Zebra and Larry home, I assumed they would just reappear with everything normal. I guess the secret to a successful comic strip is keeping expectations low
You can see someone’s mouth move and know they are talking without hearing them. Rat didn’t say anything that implies knowledge of what the man said.On another note, Rat said “sorry”! How many times does he do that? He almost sounds polite, for him.
