Speaking of the charge of the Marx brigade… I notice even the horses had goggles on. Knowing what we know now, from events after that, those “topsider” goggles were necessary to see across dimensions. Impressive to see Aaron include that level of detail so far back… yet Lady Marx (as mentioned) had neither mask nor goggles, I wonder why.

Tough to say if they’re stuck, or duplicates, or in a strange delayed time loop, take a close look at the bottom. Allen’s rear end is visible at page bottom right, continuing from page top left. Wally and crew in the bottom middle are startled as they notice Allen’s behind at page bottom right, while we have a second Wally at page bottom left with the same (delayed?) expression as page top left Wally.

Hard to see the fifth glove finger dangling, but for sure he only has 4 digits now, where he definitely had five right before Wally “condemned him to live”.

Used to go to Snyder 2-3 times a year as a kid to visit my grandparents, it’s a sleepy little town with a lot of religion that has neither significantly grown nor declined in the past 30 years. I recommend Towle Park as a place to relax, although one of its most memorable features for decades, Prairie Dog Town, was replaced with a pool and splash pad roughly around 2014.

Can’t speak to your speculation, but in our reality caskets are often put in grave vaults or at the very least have a grave liner topstone put in place to protect the casket from groundwater and/or keep the weight of the earth from crushing the casket over time.

To quote Yosemite Sam: “Close it! Close it! Close it up again!”

I can’t help but think of the similarly-named Dr. VeNKman from Ghostbusters, also a hack with a desperate desire to prove himself in a “questionable” field of science.

Indeed, especially since Irving was literally in the air before Marxi stepped in the room.

Hah! Jenner got it right! https://www.docrat.com.au/comic/pandemic-toothbrush-art/
Personally I think Aaron’s just having fun with old cartoon memes right now. But it’s fun to see what he comes up with!
