I’m sorry, but this once again leaves me flabbergasted that this storyline is actually a thing. Does Greg want us to believe this or does he live under a rock as to modern youth. College-going students actually surprised a couple is “doing it” ?!? The opposite would be much more of a topic to gloat over: " Have you heard … Gunther and Bets haven’t actually yet …."
Dear John, that basic right argument of yours is not valid. Living in a society is all about forgoing personal freedoms in favor of the wellbeing or functioning of society as a whole.I could argue, that I have a right to run around naked (what is more natural than not wearing clothes?), take dumps in the street or marry whomever I see fit, but – especially in the US – these seemingly natural rights are restricted by society due to various … I’ll call them concerns.Similarly, if society sees a benefit in limiting your right to carry an automatic rifle to go shopping, in favor of increased safety – then so be it.
I, for a change, disagree that Luann is overall snippy? If someone important to me is telling me something important to them, I give them my full attention and don’t wander off to some random SMS. That can definitely wait! Quill is being very dismissive to Luann.
Rosa has me really really annoyed here. Going to Peru to her uncle is one-thing …. this is just crazy fantasy. She is dragging her “boyfriend” into it not because she wants him there, but because she feels it validates her plan that someone is ready to come along.I really hope the story comes to her plonking on her head and realizing what a noob she has been, while Gunther gets so much more out of it.
