Incidentally, it’s the stem of the name of “phlegmatic” temperament. You know, from the time when it was thought people’s behavioral traits were derived from either blood, bile, dark bile (whatever that was) and phlegm?

Possibly less I’d think. In the couple instances I saw Marigold drawn standing alongside Phoebe’s parents, she had withers somewhere at their shoulders or bit lower. That would make Marigold as tall as the small horse breeds, tops, and 6 inch bit is wide enough for regular warmblood breeds.

… no, only bridled, my bad.

Hey, Marigold once agreed to being ridden by Dakota, saddled and bridled, IIRC. It was for Dakota’s birthday I recall.

Yah, very unimaginative on BCH’s part, too :)

I’d lean towards “Neigh”, but I do like your idea. Mari’s not a horse, but Dana made her vocalize as one, anyhow.

Yeah, looks a bit like the neck part of a turtle-nexk sweater, I suppose.

Yeah, I think so too. It’s a bit odd though (though I do like naturally upright manes of zebras and Przewalski’s horses – and yes, I know unicorns are even-toed and therefore can’t be equids, but that’s the closest I always think of)

Around a neck? I saw mentioned that some people wear them on wrists and ankles though (apart from the intended usage to tie hair)

I meant originally *Does that – not sure how the negative appeared there…
