… and today, the candidate’s party grants absolution for whatever the offense and weight of irrefutable evidence showing the offense so that their candidate can advance to the next level
interestingly, Joe Biden had to drop out of the same primary election after it became public that he had lied about his law class ranking (decidedly not anywhere near the top 50%), and that he had plagiarized while in school.he also repeatedly used parts of other politician’s speeches in his own. His framing of his first wife’s death as a victim of a drunk driver also has no basis in fact.
it would not be until tthe 1992 primaries that the voting public would begin to cheerfully ignore widely publicized “character issues” in presidential candidates.
the probblem continued to spiral out of control to the point that by 2016, both political parties were represented by candidates whose primary positive quality was “they weren’t the other candidate”.

Evangelicals sure have changed… except for the fact that they will oppose a democrat and embrace a republican no matter what they do…

I don’t care who is screwing who ( assuming adult mutual consent). But these monkeys are throwing the same thing at me as the ones at the zoo did.
