It took me years to figure out why I liked Batman so much,then I realized it’s because he’s a DIY hero. He’s not mutant,he’s not a magical being,he’s not an alien or a god. He’s a guy who was blessed with extraordinary physical and mental gifts who used those gifts to amass a fortune,and spurred on by grief,opened up major whupass on the crime world. Or have I thought about this too much? ;D
