We leave ours up until 12th Night. And sometimes 19th night depending on the weather.
My wife, who identifies as pagan, would leave her Yule tree up until the vernal equinox. (Of course, she used an artificial tree so as not to have to kill a living one every year.)
Our DNR takes them for pheasant houses in the boonies.
Aren’t Ikea still paying 1€ to recycle trees bought from them?
