My father farmed the homestead with his two brothers. Years ago I heard my uncles talking, they said that 1918 was a good crop – then asked each other when was the next really good crop. They decided on 1941.

Nobody else appears to be around, so would that make them the early settlers?

She’ll just have to settle for it until something better comes along.

Me when I found out the local grocery store wouldn’t be carrying individual donuts…
