How about you just have Christmas one year and your birthday the next?

I have a cousin who was born on Christmas. Got fewer gifts overall (barely), but tended to get more expensive ones than her brother.

I have a cousin in that predicament. She did the same thing back to those who played the “Your birthday and your Christmas present” game. Even if their birthday was in August. She did not have to do it twice to anybody. Today they will have a wonderful Christmas dinner and dessert will be her birthday cake.

Happy Birthday to ALL Christmas babies, especially the first one!

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate. Peaceful Monday to those who don’t.

Personally, I’d rather get birthday presents than ghost presents.

Well, one could always move their birthday to July and celebrate it then. That’s what I’d do if I’d been stuck with a December birthday.

From what little of the bible I have read.. never once does JC complain about his birthday and Christmas being on the same day. So, to quote an old saying; “what would Jesus do”. Suck it up.

One of our sons was born on January 2nd. He has often joked that it was unfair to be that close to Christmas. I like to remind him that he could have been a tax exemption for the entire previous year had he come into the world a couple of days earlier.
