Took years for him to understand it worked better above the surface, and to stop biting off the mouthpiece.

I might assume that a shark that can play that instrument is obviously well educated, intelligent and couldn’t possibly be a terrifying man-eating monster. Of course, that might be the last assumption I’d ever make . . .
