Man 1: Even though you're the client, it's my duty to tell you you're wrong. Man 2: Well, as the client, it's my duty to be as wrong as I want to be and to replace you like a used tissue. Man 1: Ok then. Speak slowly so I can write down your every whim.
This doesn’t just apply to lawyers. Anyone who has “customers/clients” has to either give in or (as I would do), not care if they ever saw them again. I stand up for my principles, regardless. If the customer is wrong, they are wrong. If you start precedents, all following customers will be, in essence, “right.” That’s what’s wrong with many businesses today. They have no principles or scruples.
