    And yet almost 90% of tax revenue comes from the top 10% of income earners. Do you really think that the government could spend about 25% of the GDP if it wasn’t getting lots of money from rich people? I keep my income low enough that I don’t pay any taxes (which is possible with a simple lifestyle), but somebody must be paying taxes because the government has a lot of money to throw around.
