When I stayed at a B&B in the UK the owner wanted to serve a breakfast the size of a Thanksgiving dinner, and all I wanted was a bowl of cereal and a cup of black coffee.
Wife walks in the room, grabs a pan, husband walks out. Nothing missing on the counters, so he apparently took nothing to the guests. He maybe got the eggs out, which is confusing to what he said about corn flakes.
I wanted to open and run a B&B in a coastal town, and cater to SCUBA divers. My wife didn’t like the idea of dripping wetsuits and fins ruining her floors. So now we live 175 miles inland. No problem with hurricanes up here, though.

I stayed at a hotel once that advertised “Just Like Home.” Sure enough, the maid opened my door the next morning and told me to clean my room.
