Red: Chess is one of the oldest games. It was devised to simulate the clash of two great armies. The board represents the battlefield. Pieces such as pawns are common foot soldiers, chess requires skill, patience, logic and brains. Rover: Maybe they should substitute chess for actual war. Red: It'll never happen. That would take skill, patience, logic, and brains.
