Rover looking back at Red reminds me of times when I’d have our pup out in the yard with me. She was taught never to leave the border of our property, and as long as my wife or I were out where she could see us she stayed the course..There were those times where she would test us by going to the edge of the lawn, place one paw into the “forbidden zone”, and look back at us, waiting for a response. My wife or I would shout, “Gizmo No!”, and she would promptly pull the paw back and sheepishly return towards the center of the yard where she belonged!.She’s been gone for a few years now and hardly a day goes by I don’t think of our times together…
