By the way, why is Red’s mail box on the curb? He obviously lives in a subdivision neighborhood. In his day he should have had the door delivery not a rural route. Locally it was mid 70’s that resulted in subdivision curbside boxes. When did the block or two mail box clusters show up that are now common?
