Laika, such a sad story

Proofreader must’ve had their head in the stars in the last panel. ;-)

I forgive Brian for the typo and amazed he comes up with so many ideas every day! Love my little darlings!

Poor Laika. A street stray that was found and placed in a space capsule. The capsule’s cooling system broke and Laika overheated and died in space. ‘Laika’ is Russian for ‘barker’. I can’t help but imagine how scared the poor dog was to be strapped into something like that.

Laika will be sorely missed.
