Why would Red something when he knows it hurts Rover?

Dog ears are very sensitive, that’s for sure! My Lizzie’s ears perk up, and I’m going, “What did you hear, girl?”

How about Down by the Fishin’ Hole?

Quick, call the whistle patrol, or better yet Rover, just let farts, that will interrupt his whistling. Yip yip yip yip yip

Rover can Name That Tune in 2 notes!

My ears very much dislike whistling. I feel for Rover. It can be painful for some of us.

Back in the day, I could whistle like a bird. Lost the ability somewhere on the trail to old age.

This makes me think of the opening of The Andy Griffith Show.

If it hurts Rover, don’t do it…..

“Whistle me up a memory/Whistle a tune to carry me/To Tombstone Territory” Opening theme to an old tv western series. Somehow it stuck in my mind. I don’t remember anything of the series.

Red ….. maybe humming a tune that Rover would like and wouldn’t hurt his ears ……… :)
