Another Mother’s Day strip. As I mentioned just now on The Wizard of Id, I live in the UK where we have our Mothers’ Day (or Mothering Sunday) three weeks before Easter Sunday. I also mentioned that I lost my Mum in March 2011 which was just before Mothers’ Day so all the Mothers’ Day cards in the shops made me feel sadder. I have many happy memories of my Mum who lived to be eighty-three. I lost my Dad in March 2020 (to pneumonia not Covid) and he had lived to be ninety-one.

Rover reminds us: There are many ways to be family. LOVE is the thread that ties us together.

Awe, that’s so neat! I can very well see why Rover feels that way. They have a wonderful, compassionate mom! And happy Mother’s Day to all. Mine has passed but I think about her a lot!

I just hope I am the son my mother hoped I would be! My mother has passed as well.

Oh, look! And a snack for Rover as well.

Two kids, three dog sons—being mom to them, best part of my life!

What a beautiful family! What is Mother’s Day without the fur kids?

A mother can replace anyone, but nobody can replace a mother! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, Brian for the thoughtfulness. As a fur mom, I can say my doggie and kitties make my life better. I think they know how much I love them. Purrs and wagging tails all around
