I miss having a dog that will roll over for belly rubs. This one must have had a back injury or something. She loves a belly rub done on her side, but no way is she going to roll onto her back or let me roll her over. If I hold her, standing up and try to slowly ease her over, she balks. Maybe it’s just foreign to her. Sideways belly rubs it is. She never sleeps on her back or rolls on anything, either. Rover makes up for all the time my dog won’t spend on her back.
