Veridian, your timing is spot-on, as I happen to be eating my famous homemade yummy and tender gluten-free pancakes for breakfast as I read this rip-roaring, rib-tickling revelation! I KNEW Cobra was on our side, albeit in her own self-serving way! :-) (Personally, I suspect Cobra had a difficult life before meeting Rip, hence her always looking out for herself.) What a relief - I was afraid Our Man Thompson was gonna switch out Cobra in the RIP HAYWIRE logo and holiday strips, and replace them with Bliss Benson! She may (or may not) be a sweet girl, but somehow I don’t see her settling easily into Rip’s life of danger and adventure. Also, note Dutch’s disdainful response to Rip’s “new friend”! :)
