Rip Haywire by Dan Thompson for October 29, 2011
Transcript:
Jack: Tsk. Tsk. Bliss, really. Trying to run away from me on my river - Bliss: Where's Rip, you devil!? Jack: Tsk. Tsk. I find your attitude toward me quite disheartening, especially since our love was blossoming so well. Rip Haywire is dead, or will be shortly. Take them to the pirate camp! Bliss: Oh poor Rip! What can we do for him, Dutch? Dutch: Zip it, yah lovesick harlequin, you and me ain't exactly headin' to the Ritz-Carlton!
I don’t know if this is the proper place for this but I received my copy of the Rick Haywire graphic novel yesterday and, if you like what you’re reading above, you might want to think about getting one for yourself. Think of your favorite television show successfully made into a feature film. It has a bigger budget and longer story but has lost none of the action, humor, and, best of all, heart of the Rip Haywire comic strip.
Best Birthday Gift EVER!!
And, while my wife has a Phd in Botany, I can assure you that I am not a plant.
