You know, this has all the makings of an old two-part G I Joe episode in which one of the Joes named “Shipwreck” awaken to find out it’s many years and now he’s married and has a family! If you already know it, then I don’t need to tell you the rest. But this story arc is much like it.

Probably like the old movie where an American officer with knowledge of the plans for D-Day is kidnapped by the Nazis and put into a fake hospital and told the war is over. They try to get the information out of him, but he figures it out with the help of a pretty nurse and escapes. What does Rip know that someone else might want?

Hey, gang, we of Team Bartilucci love both the movie 36 HOURS (James Garner rules!) and the animated G.I. Joe, one of our favorite episodes (a particular favorite for hubby). If you’re gonna borrow from other films and/or TV shows, borrow from the best! :-) Looking forward to more of this crazy storyline!
